The
annual - as in two consecutive years - Down Under Hour Christmas
show, combining a mish-mash of Christmas-themed songs, some music
that acknowledges summertime down under, and some that just seems to
fit the mood.

Intro:
Roulette - Dom Mariani and the Majestic Kelp, Underwater Casino,
2003.

Santa
Swapped His Sleigh For a Surfboard - Craig Stewart, beyond which I
don't know anything else, except I like his true-blue Aussie tone.

I
Hope You Get Laid For Christmas - Damien Cowell's Disco Machine,
featuring Liz Stringer, from 2015.

Spend
Christmas Day With Me - Darren Hanlon, part of his annual holiday
tour since 2009.

A
pair of songs from Babe Rainbow, a band of surfing musicians living
in sunny New South Wales.

Smile,
from their 2021 album Changing Colours

Secret
Enchanted Broccoli Forest, part of a 2015 EP.

Aussie
Christmas with Bucko and Champs - Colin Buchanan and Greg Champion
did this one in 1995

Christmas
Time Down Under - Olivia Newton-John, from a 1965 television holiday
special I found on YouTube

Bali
Waters - Tamam Shud, an edited version of the music from the
soundtrack to the surf movie Morning Of The Earth. The movie came out
in 1972 but the music was recorded in 1970.

Aussie
Christmas Song - another one of those things that emerge in an
internet search, this one credited to Robin Bate.

Summa
- Heavy Moss from 2023. Think of summer. In case it wasn't
immediately obvious, these guys are part of the King Giz universe.

Somewhere
Out On the Road Tonight - Ian W. Beer from 2012 song, his album Heart
& Mind.

White
Wine In the Sun - actor, comedian and musician Tim Minchin, from a
concert in around 2009.

How
To Make Gravy - Paul Kelly, he first recorded it in 1998 for his
album Words And Music. This version is from his massive eight-disc
set The A-Z Recordings, collected from concert performances from 2004
to 2010. Now it's been made into a movie.

Outro:
Pacific Heights,
Baby Langston from
their acclaimed 1998
album.
