In our first segment this week, I will first play the only song in Smooth Jazz that I have been able to find that has a Halloween theme. Then I have more from Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga’s new album Love For Sale with my wife Joyce’s in depth look at the story behind this history making collaboration. Also in our first segment you will hear brand new music from the October 15th release of Fired Up from the group Pieces Of A Dream and an early release from the album And Now This that will be fully released on November 5th by saxophonist Paul Taylor. The remainder of the first hour will be the absolute latest releases in Smooth Jazz. Hour two will begin with this week’s Billboard top three songs in Smooth Jazz to be followed by some of the classic songs from the past from this format that we love to hear.
I will finish the music from this week’s program on a soft note with a beautiful collaboration from two incomparable stars, the keys of Burt Bacharach and the trumpet of Chris Botti with the song In Our Time.
