September 10, 2016:  This week’s Intermountain Classics a collection of some of my personal favorites.  We will hear both symphonic and chamber music, starting with the Suite from the Midsummer Night’s Dream by Felix Mendelssohn and Richard Strauss’ epic tone poem “Ein Heldenleben” or “ A Hero’s Life”.  Also featured is a symphony and some chamber music by Mozart and the beautiful Larghetto for Horn and Orchestra by the French composer Emmanuel Chabrier.
