Interview with Prof. Peter Phillips, Educator, Researcher, Author and Activist

  We spend the hour talking with Prof. Peter Phillips, Professor of Sociology at Sonoma State University, former Director of Project Censored, publisher of the15 Censored: Media - Democracy in Action series, co-host with Mickey Huff of the Project Censored radio show on KPFA and media activist.  We talk about the massive propaganda campaigns financed by transnational corporations to control resources and create wars.  Prof. Phillips shares his research on police excessive use of force and militarization of local law enforcement.   We discuss possible solutions that could save lives and promote healthy police/community relationships in our local areas.  Additional related websites include: DailyCensored and Project Censored.
