Our guest is Michael Charles Tobias, ecologist, author, filmmaker, and President of the Dancing Star Foundation. The Dancing Star Foundation focuses on international bio-diversity conservation, global environmental education and animal protection. He has authored or co-authored over 45 books and has written, directed, and produced well over 100 films–including TV series, documentaries and dramas, most pertaining to environmental, cultural, social or scientific issues. His works include World War III: Population and the Biosphere at the End of the Millenium, and Sanctuary: Global Oases of Innocence, and the recent feature film trilogy, No Vacancy, Mad Cowboy and Hotspots.
