Nikki Giovanni

Late Night Poetry Jam features Nikki Giovanni. We spend an hour in conversation about her life, her writing, her beliefs. In addition, she reads poetry and excerpts from several books. Giovanni has received over 20 honorary degrees and has authored and co-authored over 30 books. Her themes cover injustice, civil rights, equality, relationship, love, food and more. She presently teaches at Virginia Tech.
