We're not Angry, but he is
Angry Anderson (his first name is really Greg), the bald-headed, heavily tattooed frontman for Rose Tattoo, one of Australia's most ferocious hard rock bands, has been having some heart problems. Angry, we wish you well. With Angry Anderson singing and Pete Wells on slide guitar, we heard:
- Remedy - from the Rose Tattoo self-titled first album, produced in Sydney by Harry Vanda and George Young of Easybeats fame, released in 1978.
- A clip from the 1985 movie Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, starring Mel Gibson (American/Australian), co-directed/written by the Australian filmmaker George Miller, with Angry Anderson in the role of Ironbar - that was him speaking at the end of the clip.
- We Can't Be Beaten, from their 1982 album Scarred For Life. Produced by Vanda & Young.

We heard:
- Swampland, the Scientists, a 1982 single. This version from the 1983 compilation Blood Red River 1982-1984.
- Draggin' Out the Truth - Kim Salmon & the Surrealists, from their self-titled 1995 album.
- Seein' Spots - Smoked Salmon, it's the B side of a single, the A side is titled Freudian Slippers and is on the album Totally Sick!, a May 2026 release.
What the...
Aaron Chen - humor (humour) from the 2021 Melbourne International Comedy Festival Gala.
Bruny - percussionist/composer Harry O'Mara and his band and their brand new self-titled debut album, Plonk. FYI plonk is Aussie slang for cheap wine. Also FYI, Bruny is the name of a beautiful island off the coast of Tasmania, which is itself quite a beautiful island off the coast of Australia, which is a very big island ...
Little Boy - Rebecca Barnard, Harry O'Mara's mother, and with his father Shane O'Mara on guitars, it's on Rebecca's 2006 album Fortified.
Fake news, new music
Radio Is Dead! - [editor's note: it's not] the title track of a new EP by Ups and Downs, their first new music in 10 years, coming ahead of tour planned for October.
The Perfect Crime - Ups And Downs, a 1985 single, and it was included on their vinyl-only album Stained Glass Memories, a retrospective compilation released in 2025.
The best filler
Love And Affection - the Triffids., from their 1986 album In the Pines. This version from the 2007 reissue CD.
