In the US on August 1, 1981, among the first 50 videos shown on MTV, two were from Down Under, both by Split Enz. Featuring the Crowded House guy Neil Finn. Waiata was released as Corroboree in Australia, where it reached No. 1. Waiata is the Māori term for song and singing - corroboree is an Aboriginal term.
