Three New Plays on Scratched Up Radio Theater

Share Tweet Email

On this Thursday May 12th, we'll have three new plays by local authors: "The Hungarian Mexican Restaurant" by Dave Smith, "The Successor" by Jim Dowling, and "Killing Lisa" by Marilyn Robrahn and Bill Siemer. All 3 plays were in the Riverfront Playhouse's 2021 Playwright's Night Out event.

Starring in The Hungarian Mexican Restaurant, in which a married couple involve the staff in their marital beef, are Chloe Freeland Davis as the wife, Dustin Davis as the husband, Kim Basial as the waitress, and Ragan Ragan as the restaurant manager. The Successor features Dustin Davis as the devotee, John Welsh as the aide, and Jim Dowling as the guru; how holy IS this holyman? Killing Lisa features Tanya Bergan Stedman as Janet, Lili Dubois as Megan, Linda Ragan as Laura, and Kim Mobley as Sheila - four actors who agonize during a casting session. Your host is Dickie Magidoff, with tech production by Lili Dubois and Jim Dowling.

That's this Thursday at 8 PM, only on KKRN 88.5, or at kkrn.org.
