January 21, 2017: This week Intermountain Classics presents world music from Belorussia, Argentina and Redding! Included are works by local composer Kate Moody, with two selections from her new CD, “the Seeker”. In the opening of the show you will hear “Rachael’s Waltz”, and during the first hour will be Ms. Moody’s “Fantasy for Electric Guitar and Orchestra”. Chamber music from Belorussia and Argentina will also be featured with Lev Abeliovich's Piano Trio and Astor Piazzolla's Autumn" movement from the "Four Seasons of Buenos Aires" and "Adios Nonino", a musical tribute to Piazzolla's father. The second hour is a special Happy 261th Birthday presentation in honor of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
