This week’s Intermountain Classics highlights the upcoming concert of the North State Symphony concert next weekend, February 27th and 28th.  Featured will be the beautiful 2nd Symphony of Johannes Brahms, the violin concerto by Jean Sibelius as performed by guest soloist Andrew Sords, and the Overture to the opera “The Magic Flute” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.  Also included in tonight’s program will be Argentine tango music by Astor Piazzola.  During the second hour will be some early "ground hog" welcome to Spring music:  Beethoven's "Pastoral" Symphony and Frederick Delius' "On Hearing the First Cuckoo in Spring".
