From Smooth Jazz the latest new releases, this week's Billboard top three songs, and classic old songs, all on this program

We have reached less than a week from the opening of the two week granddaddy of Smooth Jazz Festivals, the 34th annual Catalina Island Jazz Festival. Mindi Abair will open Thursday with a sold out performance followed by two weeks of performances from a who's who of the very best of Smooth Jazz artists. For this week’s show, I will continue to try my best to cover the plentiful and amazing number of new releases in Smooth Jazz. In the middle of hour one, I will play this week’s Billboard top three songs in Smooth Jazz. The competition for the top spot has been fierce and this year it has been rare for a song to remain more than one week at number one. Please stick around for our second hour when I will play music and look at the career of superstar saxophonist Richard Elliot.
