    Timna Axel (she/her) is a senior communications strategist for the Midwest Regional Office and the Tribal Partnerships Program at Earthjustice. Prior to joining Earthjustice, Timna served for six years as director of communications for Chicago Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights, and for three years as a field organizer for J Street. Timna was born in Israel and grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.
