Now it is 2024

Intro: Roulette - Dom Mariani and the Majestic Kelp, Underwater Casino, 2003.

Moondah, into Place To Go - Ayers Rock, the first two tracks from their 1976 album Beyond, recorded in the USA while on tour. Moondah is long so I cut it and faded it into the second song, Plave To Go.

Easy - the Ronson Hangup, from their album Centaurus, released in 2023.

Coast To Coast - Twerps, from their self-titled debut album, which came out in 2011.

Cathy’s Clown - You Am I, from Hi Fi Way, released in 1995.

Duplicity - Spencer P. Jones and the Nothing Butts, which is the name of the band and the album. From 2012.

Toll-Puddle Martyrs - Time Will Come, a single they released in 1967.

I found this thanks to The Hermit and his program Stuck In The Psychedelic Era in his final show of 2023. Check him out on KKRN on Thursdays at noon.

“The original Tolpuddle Martyrs were a group of farmers in the English village of Tolpuddle who had the temerity to try organizing what amounts to a union in the 19th century. For their efforts they found themselves deported to the penal colony now known as Australia. But that doesn't really concern us. What I wanted to talk about was the original Tol-Puddle Martyrs (note the hyphen), the legendary Australian band that evolved from a group called Peter And The Silhouettes. Well, not exactly. What I really wanted to talk about is the current incarnation of the Tol-Puddle Martyrs. Still led by Peter Rechter, the Martyrs have released a series of CDs since 2007 (including a collection of recordings made by the 60s incarnation of the band). Among those CDs is the 2011 album Flying In The Dark, which contains several excellent tunes such as Perfect Day.”

The Cat - Ben Salter, the title track to his 2011 album.

The Save - Jeff Lang, from his 2004 album Whatever Makes You Happy.

The Barrel Song - Charles Jenkins & the Zhivagos, from their album Too Much Water In the Boat, from 2014.

How Come People Act Like That - Kerri Simpson, from her 2007 album Sun Gonna Shine.

The River - Belles Will Ring, from their album Crystal Theatre, which came out in 2011.

The closing music today is by Franks Moylan’s Expression of Interest, the album Goodbye Cruel Circus.
