This special edition of Community Works Radio is all about the upcoming local event for Earth Day,  The Whole Earth and Watershed Festival in Redding. Host Ellen Sugg speaks with founder and organizer of the Festival, Peggy Rebol and to local climate change activist, Dr. Doug Craig. Peggy tells our listeners about the special features of this, the thirteenth event, that takes place at the City Hall and Sculpture Park. Dr. Doug Craig talks about some of the basic concepts of  human caused global warming and climate change and informs listeners about local initiatives to promote cities, towns and local citizens to acknowledge climate change and take steps to reduce fossil fuel consumption and increase safer, earth friendly energy sources.
