Cindy Bradley An Extraordinary Trumpeter - Featured Artist + New #1 & Top 3 In Smooth Jazz + New 2018 Releases

Share Tweet Email

This week's featured artist is trumpeter and flugelhorn player Cindy Bradley.  Teaming with Grammy Award winning producer Michael Broening, Bradley won instant critical acclaim and quickly vaulted to the top of smooth jazz charts. She has performed at most of the renowned jazz festivals both nationally and internationally. Famous and successful, she remains humble and gives back by conducting hundreds of jazz workshops at high schools and community colleges all over the country. I hope you enjoy the terrific music from this talented artist. Stay tuned to the end of the show when I will play my very favorite Cindy Bradley song.

Billboard’s top three songs in smooth jazz this week. The very romantic Colors Of Love released by pianist Brian Culbertson on Valentine’s Day reaches number two. We have a brand new number one. Guitarist Nick Colionne sets an all time smooth jazz record with his album Journey by having a fifth song from one album reach billboard number one status.

New 2018 releases from trumpeter Lin Rountree, saxophonist Marion Meadows and another selection from pianist Brian Culbertson’s newest Valentine’s Day album.

Second hour is turn up the quiet time. Artists performing five in a row uninterrupted include Diana Krall, Darren Rahn, Chuck Loeb, Tim Weisberg, and Alex Bugnon.

Another song from this year’s Grammy Award winning album Prototype from the Jeff Lorber Fusion.

Another song from Jim Brickman in anticipation of his April 20th appearance in Redding.

More songs from Rick Braun, David Benoit, Boney James, and Keiko Matsui.

And don’t forget to catch the conclusion with my favorite Cindy Bradley song
