September 17, 2016:  Intermountain Classics hosts a special program honoring our own North State Symphony and their upcoming 2016-2017 concert season.  Scott Seaton, conductor and artistic director of the symphony, talks about the highlights of this concert season and in particular the first concerts in Redding and Chico, which take place the weekend of September 24 and 25.  In the second hour of the show will be some Brahms lieder written specifically for women’s voices and modern American blues music for both piano and viola.

All Intermountain Classics shows for the 2016 year are now archived on the KKRN website.   If you miss a program or you want to hear it again, go to the Intermountain Classics section of the website and look for the show you want to hear.  Each show is available for immediate playback.   You can check for updates and special features, on the Intermountain Classics page on Facebook.
