Highlighting Local Music Festivals with Brahms and Mozart & Earl Wild's "Doo-Dah"

August 6, 2016:  In this program I highlight two special concerts which will take place here in the north state in the coming weeks.  Celebrating the return of the Trinity Alps Chamber Music Festival to Redding, we will hear Brahms’ Piano Quintet  in F minor in the first hour of tonight’s program.   And in the second hour will be Mozart’s Piano Quartet in G minor, a work to be performed by the faculty members of the Pacific Crest Music Festival.  Also included is a special performance of Earl Wild’s Variations on an American Theme.
